Projects:
Marisol Zero Two
Marisol Zero Two, the second home Burdge has designed for the visionary Marisol Zero Series, is a Hawaiian-inspired home that seamlessly merges sustainability with opulence. The residence features a 170-foot-long wooden lanai, a landscaped pond, and a glass bridge connecting the main house to a secluded guest house. Marisol Zero Two exemplifies the future of eco-conscious living while embracing the beauty of Malibu's landscapes. We are honored to be able to work on projects that put so much emphasis on sustainability and look forward to continuing to integrate environmentally friendly design into our work.
Birdview Modern
Nestled along the Malibu coastline, Birdview Modern 2 was amongst our list of renovation projects this year, and a testament to our ability to transform existing homes into modern masterpieces. This renovation capitalized on the site’s stunning ocean views, featuring a wraparound deck and balcony. The integration of large glass doors seamlessly blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor living.
BAR-n
Located on Doug Burdge's Idaho property, the BAR-n project showcases Burdge's unique mountain style architecture. At first glance, the BAR-n might seem like a charming relic from the past, echoing the timeless appeal of a classic 1800s barn. However, this architectural gem combines traditional construction techniques with contemporary innovations, making it a true symbol of modern-mountain architecture. As we reflect on the success of the BAR-n project, we look forward to continuing to extend our architectural footprint into the mountain region.
